In ongoing conversations with CIOs, IT Directors, and innovation leaders within the region's largest enterprises, the recognition dawned about a scarcity of innovation and thought leadership addressing the pivotal IT issues that govern the pace of success or failure.

Whilst there are numerous tech weeks and tech conferences, we weren’t seeing much opportunity for like-minded tech mavericks to get together to discuss key issues, share lessons learnt, and debate how to overcome obstacles. It was this reality that gave birth to the idea of Birmingham Tech Leaders.
